Piedmont is a northwest Italian region surrounded by mountains. The capital is Turin and Piedmont is the second largest Italy’s region. Piedmont is still unknown but it’s a very beautiful region: 7.6% of its territory is considered protected area! Here you can find everything you want: from the beautiful city of Turin, to marvelous mountains such as Monte Rosa and Gran Paradiso, from the damp rice paddies of Vercelli to the fabulous hillsides of the Langhe and of Monferrato where you can taste some of the best Italian wines.
Piedmont can offer a wide range of venues depending on what you are looking for. From beautiful castles full of history and art for luxury weddings in Turin, as the city was the first Italy’s capital; to traditional farmhouses in the UNESCO word heritage site of Langhe-Roero and Monferrato vineyard landscape; from amazing winter weddings on the top of some of the higher italian mountains, just where the Olympic Games in 2006 took place; to elegant lake front weddings in Lake Maggiore, Lake Orta or the just like out of a fairytale little Mergozzo Lake.
